Come to historic downtown Sanford, Florida on April 15 to experience a truly unique and exciting Art Walk event.

From 6-9pm, the official venues of the Sanford Art Walk will feature artists, exhibits and activities related to the art of DRAG. Acting as hostess and tour guides at each venue are some of Central Florida's most loved Drag Queens.

Bridgette Galore will be a featured hostess at the Gallery On First as well as co-host to the official "Art is a DRAG SHOW" program at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center.

Q: How did you get your start in the Drag Queen business?

A: As Anastasia in the Disney's Main street Electrical Parade .

Q: What are your top career highlights?

A: As Anastasia in the Disney's Main street Electrical Parade .

Q: Any good or interesting developments over this past year?

A: Working with the Eau Gallie Arts district hosting Drag

Q: Do you have any interesting projects coming up?

A: Developing a Bridgette YouTube channel and series.

Q: What is on Bridgette’s bucket list?

A: Win a national title, marry a rich older man and have a young pool boy.😉

Q: What are the best parts of being a drag queen? The biggest challenges?

A:Definitely being able to wear gorgeous gowns and jewelry.

Starving to maintain my craft to make sure I'm giving the best Bridgette possible.

Q: What do you see as the new frontier in drag? Where is it headed?

A: I definitely feel that the new Frontier and where we are headed is with drag performers that do more than just lip sync. We see this in the recent years on Drag Race, where the past several winners and finalists are comedian's or actually trained singer's.

On April 15,2017, 6-12midnight, the Sanford Art Walk gets a shot of glamboyance with an infusion of Drag Queens and drag related exhibits and performances. Come as you are or Drag for the night. Drag Queens of all varieties (pros, wannabes, just-for-the-night, as well as Fauxs and Kings) are invited to parade the Art Walk route, play "Art & Drag" games and attend a fabulous after-party & show at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center in downtown Sanford, Florida. “Art Is a Drag” is produced by the Sanford Art Walk. Originating from the point of view that visual art & Drag are both pure forms of creativity and self-expression - whether good or bad, tasteful or tacky, both take guts to produce and even more to exhibit. The 'arts community' of Sanford believed that combining the two art forms for a special Art Walk evening would create at minimum a celebration of the act of self-expression, at best an Art Happening that will be exhilarating to all who encounter. The Sanford Art Walk is produced by the Historic Sanford Welcome Center which is a 501c(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to enrich the Sanford experience through the promotion of Sanford as an arts, culture, recreation and historic destination.
